Tips to make your DusTrap Air Filter work even harder for you.

1. Keep the furnace or air handler fan ON as much as possible. It cost very little to let the fan run continuously, and the gentle movement of the air helps keep the tiny dust particles air borne until they get trapped in the filter.

2. Every month or so, run a clean soft bristle brush over the filter grill fins, WHILE THE FAN IS RUNNING,  to keep the grill clean, allowing the dust particles to move to the filter.

3. In the spring pollen season, keep the windows and doors closed as much as is comfortable for you, in order to keep the pollen outside. Same with road dust and dust caused by mowing a dry lawn.

4. Finally, glance at the filter every month or so, just to see if it's securely in place and doing it's job It's OK, even if it looks like it has captured a lot of dust.
